Eat At Your Own Risk

The missionaries came for dinner tonight. I'm sure they were desperate. Why else would you come here? Willingly? They have been to our house before, so they knew what they were in for. I did warn them. Here is just a sample of the questions they were asked:
  • What color is your room?
  • Do you sleep in the same room?
  • Do you sleep together?
  • Do you have kids?
  • Why don't you have kids?
  • Do you have a mom?
  • What's her name?
  • What is your favorite color?
  • What is your favorite thing to eat?
  • What is your favorite number?
  • Why do you like that number?
  • What color is your phone?
  • Why don't you have any freckles?
  • Did you know you have a lot of hair on your arms?
These poor boys made it through an entire hour here. And lived. Maybe it's because they are doing the work of the Lord. They have a force field of protection. I gotta get me one of those.

I just have to say thank you. I've just spent the better part of an hour reading past posts on your blog. (it's not like I have anything more productive to do...laundry, enrichment crap, you name it...) I needed a good laugh,---thank you, my dear vt companion. You have done a great service! :)

When I saw the title and first sentence, I thought I was going to read about how you fed them toast sticks w/pudding! :) Whenever you try that, I hope you like it.

Love the new picture of the girls. We have the sister missionaries tonight. Hoping for the best, preparing for the worst.

Sounds like questions Simon asks them but you can add in him trying to get them to watch television and asking about whether or not they have girlfriends writing to them etc.

Lisa, Love, Love the picture of the girls at the top of your blog!

I think missionaries like these questions - it makes an interesting 1 hour.

Love y'all

I talked to Joan and she gave me an update on the miracle twins.

So the sister Missionaries came last night. Out of control!!!! You would think my kids would be embarrassed by all of their bad actions. The sweet sisters kept saying to me "I don't know how you do it!" Translation..."Your kids are crazy and need some good hard disipline!" The sisters walked out of the door (Danced actually, They were happy to go) and at 7:04 my children went straight to bed! It was a quiet evening after that. Althought they were up bright and early at 5:45am the next morning. Why do they punish me?
